Subject: Dann> Sort Pgn games

DeepForce.pgn:  600 Mb , 4000 games/openings with
abundant (meta)analyses

Problem: Games are mixed up : E33, A70, E01, C22, etc.

I'd like to order these games by ECO code so that:

First all A00 games
Then all A01 games
Then all A02 games
Then all A03 games
etc.
etc.
Then all E98 games
Then all E99 games

Which tool could be used to sort games by ECO ?

ChessBase was unable to sort the CB format version of
DeepForce.pgn.
But it did not say why.

Scid needs Tcl, but I'd prefer not to install Tcl

Klauser's CDB uses another pgn format

Maybe there are some other tools that do the job ?
