IBM's DB's strength was its multi hardware, consequently the same software would not perform that well on monoprocessor systems. Yet we keep reading about circulating freeware software called Deep Blue. If there is anything going just a short way towards IBM's DB, then it's a collectors' item worth downloading it, even if it plays well or not, even if its sham or not. So if somewhere a copiled and ready-2-run version is available, post the link or send it in. The source code is not needed, because I'm not going to compile anything myself. Pete
