And besides, Kurt,the so called "garbage" some times result more interesting than chess computer stuff. Life is too short, as you say, but then is also too short just for talking only of chess computers with smart people like the one -me excepted, I say at once- you can meet here. My feeling is that any newsgroup must have an amount of non-related stuff to keep it alive. Let us say that "garbage" is funtionally neccesary. Without it, this will be pure boredom in short notice. Even personal threads are sometimes funny to follow as much as the dialectical force of almost all here to show they are right and the oponent is wrong is amazing and entertaining. Cheers fernando
