>Martin, How many engines can support checkerboard?? Only KingsRow and Cake++ ?

hi tanya,

at the moment, cake++ and kingsrow are the two best engines for checkerboard. i
also wrote a simple checkers program called 'simple checkers' which runs in CB,
it comes with source code but it's nowhere as strong as the other two. then
there is still 'dama' which is simple checkers playing according to the italian
rules, so there are 4 engines for checkerboard. i always hope for more of course
(CB is free and the interface specifications are public, so anybody can write an
engine for it), but checkers programming isn't as attractive as chess
programming :-)

best regards
  martin
