This is Tiger 14.0 in Chessbase interface on a Thunderbird at 945 mhz.
This is with opponent is human ticked in engine parameters, I never tried in CP.
I assume one reason it's slower than the PIII 866 is that on our machines,
mine and yours we have other things running. Start taskinfo and you'll see
what I mean. I assume on the 866 it's a barebones machine without much else
running. Also you should take into account Tiger's ponder of move 11. Nc1
which it ponders and therefore add 48 seconds to it's 287 giving 335 seconds.
I have no doubt that even my TB900 is faster than a normal PIII 866, it could
also be slightly overclocked for all we know.
