This is a blitz game. I can show you GM's missing a direct mate in blitz. It's not news. At 3 or 4 NPS the human brain makes slips. I also seriously doubt whether a 1200 player would not play Kd5, I think someone at 1200 would take a good few seconds to see Nc3+ but anyway that's beside the point. Sarah.
