I think we do not yet have enough match results to tell, if 5.32 is noticeably better in games, than -5 or Deep Shredder (on single cpu). I think you will know that 5.32 includes SMP capability. In test positions I have noticed that Shredder 5.32 is at least a version of it's own so to speak; some results are much different from V.5 and/or deep (but some are also very similar, as usual). I wouldn't expect any spectacular performance differences - these are close related versions. If you want to decide which to buy... it's difficult; both have their advantages. The ChessBase Shredder version 5.32 comes with the latest Fritz GUI incl. CBH database capability, and the price is (a little) smaller than the Millennium Shredder 5, which has also a very good GUI - which supports the UCI engine protocol directly - and includes the London 2000 version of SOS (+ Nimzo 2000, WBNimzo and many TBs). CB's Shredder 6 is announced to come with both GUIs (in case you want to wait). Regareds, M.Scheidl
