And my program was running there at the same time it was running at FICS.) The TRUTH is - I have used SEVERAL engines on that account, from Tiger to Deep Shredder. That is what has gained that rating. Not my program. My program does not even play rated games! After losing 10 of 10 the other nite, I was confident it was "decent" enough to play on a chess server. I added the Winboard code, and wa-la, I have become a liar. :) It _IS_ only searching 4-6 ply. It does not have an opening book, nor does it use tablebases, hash tables, or pondering. Man. Talk about a nasty crowd. In the 12 hours it's been playing chess, I've been called a liar, and a thief. (After winning a game against a Crafty clone on a 350mhz - I was immediatly nothing more than a hacked Crafty.) It _TRULY_ is _MY_ program. And it _TRULY_ is searching only 4-6 ply. And it is NOWHERE near 2600+ on FICS or ICC for that matter. I will try to get my program (perhaps I should name it first) it's own account on the servers ASAP to avoid lying again. :) Slate
