I'm not sure exactly what you're asking either. I think Richard A. Fowell has something there if you use Mac computers, if you use PC computers, then Winboard has a couple Chess programs built into it, and it is capable of letting you play Chess against other Chess players on Chess servers like FIC or Chessnet.
