Hi there,

I have create a new webpage for my experiment.

The question is:
Can an amateur program win a computer chess world championship?

URL:
http://amateurschach.in-trier.de/schach/cbase/experiment.htm

20 tourneys with the 16 programs, 9 rounds swiss system,
40 moves in 10 minutes, Dual Pentium III 1GHz, with ponder, 4-piece TBs, 128Mb
hashtables.

You can find:

01. 3 Polls
02. Replay Zone with all games (Chess-Base 8.0 software)
03. Downloads (all games)
04. All tables, statistics (Chess-Base 8.0 software)

More webpage options, statistics about the games, ELO Ratinglist about the
tourneys etc. comming soon.

The webpages are only in German available.
But I think jump to the results ... Links AP01 - AP20 ... are also easy for
English readers.

My English is not good enough to translate the start page.

The first tourney result:

01. Chess Tiger 14.0
02. Goliath Light 1.2
03. Crafty 18.10

Have a nice day!

Best
Frank
