Why don't you use your real name, Frederic ? >-:) Your joke was very nice since i had no problems with it. I laughed. Not more. I was more hurted by other comments of you. This shows me that my claim that I don't have anything against Fred is not two-faced but honest. Since I don't see it as offending when you MIX me up with him for fun as a boomerang-joke. I am against some of his ACTIONS and written stuff. (easy to say, but true) e.g. Anti-Botwinnik article just before he died and shortly after he died the slimey HE WAS A GREAT MAN-honor stuff. If he (or Kasparov) would have respected BOT at life-time, this would have been enough. I respect his work FOR computerchess but I have the feeling in the last years his work is more contra-productive, in the old days he was my idol. I read the Fred visits Dave Kittinger-articles and still 1986 in Cologne i was still looking up to him. But - the more I met him in person, the more I found out about his REASONS behind the outpout, I was disapointed. The idol was not working for GOOD reasons. He had no real knowledge. He was shallow and just intererested in making deals and money. He was publisher of Computerschach and spiele and did not knew the latest dedicated machines in a kind of arrogance he was in another heaven with Kasparov and Kishon. Strange thing. When something grows wrong (how is the word for ENTFREMDUNG?!?) .
