Hi Sune,
I think that thread name given by odell was a kind of provocation vs. the people
that thinks that computers are not of GM caliber.
This is not to take his defenses but is coming from the reading of his previous
posts.
Probably the phrase was not well "put' in the sense that the meaning was that
it's hard to believe that this event is fixed. I'm expecting a kind confirmation
from odell about this.
I share the Miguel p.o.v. and especially Sune's thought, 'cause I think like him
that people playing chess have an inner strive for the victory , since they are
defending their own reputation , especially at high mastery levels, and moreover
against "brainless" machines.
