Terry,

  I set up the computer as I have for every move this match. When I get the
newest move from the web, I set up the program from scratch to start from the
current board position and analyze. It didnt play Be3 because it had no record
of it ever being played.

 I am using Gt2 strictly in analysis mode with every position it thinks about as
the root position. A program cannot intentionally opt for a 3 move rep if the
board is reset after every move....try it yourself and see.
