The four GMs that lost to GT2 in Argentina all have computers and most of them
own Fritz 6. Their poor performance was due to their attitute of not taking
Chess Tiger 14.0 too seriously and assuming that if they can beat one program
they can also beat another without studying its weakness. As we all observed
they failed to beat the BEAST, which is equal in strength to Deep Fritz. But you
have to realize that Chess Tiger 14.0 was playing using a mere 866 MHz and
Kramnik will be playing a program of equal strength but with a hardware 8 times
faster.
