Well hello all! I am tired of this debate. I have Played more than 1000 games with various programs against a Fide master (Bob Kiviaho),also a post Gm, and ,many against Brian Nickoloff( Canada,s third highest rated player(Fide IM). I can assured you that Bob feels that these machines are Grandmaster strength. Also brian Nickoloff has been beaten(Destroyed) as well at tournement time controls. Everyone always Quotes Robery Hyatt. Well i say this ! Bob is not a master or a Gm. Bob is a incredible chess programmer who has created a awesome program. I can tell you this! they are Gm strength and anyone who does see that is either a weak player or deluded. End of debate. Anyone who is not a master or stronger can say what they like, But in the end do they really understand the game as a master does. Quote varios game where computer are beat in stonewall attack if you will. Then ill show you Blunders of World champions! Everyone loses games, But in the end denial is all this is. !
