Eesh. Boy, it must have been tough to "play through the ranks" and to "pay your
dues". What did you do, set your formula to
"rated&blitz&autocolor&time=4&inc=0&!computer&rating>myrating-300" and go to
bed?

I can understand some ego transference, if you wrote the thing yourself, but you
bought a cardbox box with someone else's name on it, and to call that "I" is
pretty weird.

My program and I are getting along just fine, and neither of us need people like
you in order to "survive". I'm one of the fortunate ones who has organized my
life such that I get to do what I want to do most of the time (sometimes that's
computer chess but most of the time it isn't), and I don't feel particularly
starved for anything. If you and perhaps some others want to marginalize me, no
problem. I don't need anyone's approval in order to get along, and my own sense
of success or failure is not determined by anyone who lives outside of my house.

Eesh.
