Q. What's the maximum number of consecutive check moves possible, without allowing positions where promotions have taken place? Answer below Answer - Actually I'm not quite sure :-) But the most I could come up with was six. Here's the starting position -- 3b4/1k2q3/3pN3/8/3K4/3N4/8/6R1 w - - and the moves -- 1. Rb1+ Bb6+ 2.
