I'm not sure why his post lead to such a big reaction. He doesn't do anything
illegal. All he tries to achieve is to have a comp account with the highest
ICC-rating. So what? *I* don't see the point to achieve this with a program
which is not my own, but hey, who am I to say what he should do and what not?

Yes he's using a formula which surely helps him maintaining a high score. So
what? It's perfectly within the rules of ICC. Additionally he clearly states in
his finger notes hardware/software used. So the GM/IM/whatnot knows what
he/she/whatnot plays against - it's their choice to play. And many are saying
that "ICC rating points don't mean anything/a lot anyway". Well, maybe they
still mean more to us than we admit?
