For me it's the definition of creating a computer chess program capable of beating the best human players. That is calculated chess from start to finish without aid from knowledge cranes. The software additions I've mentioned is comparable to cheating IMO. Quite, if not most, people will disagree. That's okay and as it should be with opinions. Just an example to illustrate that "GM strength" isn't a uniquely defined term by far. Regards, Mogens
