Actually, the inclusion of words into the English language can come from any
source, especially the informal ones. Take the simple word Hello. Seems pretty
inocuous and you'd expect there wouldn't be more than 3 or 4 definitions in the
dictionary. Yet, you can now find the sarcastic variation (Hello? Hello? Is
there anyone in there? <indicating an empty mind>) as well. This variation came
only from popular use.

Ebonics?? I'd have thought that calling the term 'eeker' an issue of ebonics
would be far from politically correct. Even if Mr. Dados were Black, I'd still
fail to see why you would call 'eeker' an Afro-American term. Perhaps you meant
something else?
