CSTal is a master level engine. It is not comparable with these top engines.

Yes, it is made by Alterman but this doesn't mean that is a good book for
Junior. Maybe it is a godd general book, but it has too many simple positions
and I know that Junior doesn't like them. Maybe with time and learning it could
find the better moves in the book but this will take much time and losses. I
don't think that Alterman have done a good job if it has done the book for
Junior only.

>How large is your book? Would you mind sending it to me?

It is too large, it is above 130 MB. However you could test what I've said
letting play Junior 7 and Chess Tiger with the Nunn 2 test. In that special test
there are many complicated positions and you will see clearly what I mean. In
those positions Junior dominates. In simple positions Junior is like a lion in a
cage, it tries to do something while the opponents wait, it tries to force
something to happens and this cause him problems because there are not many
choices.

Sincerely,
Fabio.
