The better result of GambitTiger in the SSDF is easy to explain: GambitTiger is
tested under the own ChessPartner GUI and the *own, adjusted book* while
ChessTiger 14 is tested in the ChessBase version which has a different book than
the ChessPartner versions of Tiger have.

Yes and no. Yes if the programs can manage to reach dynamic positions, no if the
humans can keep the position closed.
