That is what you call a chemical freshener. Does wonders for your allergy. Most
of the miracle fresheners just encapsulate dirt and bacteria. The illusion of
cleanness for the busy housewife.

The best (only) option is ecologically sound products without perfumes and
unwashable chemicals. It requires a little extra work afterwards, but it's worth
it.

It's an electrical model with a switch at ground level enabling kickstart. You
have to be a little careful of course.
