Dear Don, I've been a fan of your programs for years...have
and Socrates.
I'll not quote your posting as my point is a brief one.
Firstly, ther are more than 6 games to be considered as the
sum of both the match Garry won and the one DB won would be 12.
This would of course mean that DB has a slightly minus score
versus Kasparov.
Secondly, yes 6 or 12 games are a woefully small database,
Making the humans job much harder. If DB played more games with
more opponents GK could prepare much better and I doubt DB would be
as competitive after a year of such play.
