No routines directly aimed at 12h per move theory generation - but I think, most
programs have opening-specific routines and evaluations, maybe except some
amateurs. Things like don't bring the queen too early - although it will happen
sometimes, or don't block the d-pawn by Bf1-d3, don't move a piece twice during
the first few moves, and such things.

The program's play in the opening, if out of book, is much too good to be done
without specific opening knowledge in the engine.

Maybe some programmers can acknowledge that?
