Please make a simple move generator in LISP to show how easy it
is to use and how fast it can be!
I want proof, because i have written stuff in functional
languages and as soon as you only use the functional part of
the programming languages, then you will face truth.
Using the imperative subsets is of course not allowed.
To not let you go blind i would want to give you the tip to
use Bruce's GERBIL 0x88 move generator and translate it to LISP.
These are not too many lines.
Then post 2 things
a) the lisp code, so that everyone can get over his neck how
tough to read the code is
b) the assembly the lisp compiler produced.
Any other statement is complete nonsense.
Be happy if you're not factor 10000 slower.
