GambitTiger 2 versus Nimzo 8, I was curious to see whether Nimzo would disappoint again or show all us critics what he is really able to do. Actually, it was a disappointing match. Except the last two games Nimzo didn't show any ambitious play, not looking for initiative, attack or counterplay. It was always GambitTiger who gave the games a certain direction. So the result, 7.0-3.0 in favour of GambitTiger, is absolutely OK. IMO one can see a class difference between Nimzo 8 and GambitTiger (ChessTiger too of course). Nimzo "shone" by playing without any plan and will be removed after I will have finished my tourney. The first 3 games are finished and ended in draws where Junior had the better chances to win a game. Of course there are still 7 games to go.
