Go up one level in this thread

Another nice freeware engine hits the market!
I had the choice to eat, read the paper or play a blitz game against it.

So during lunch :) at work I played the following 3,0 blitz game (under the J7
GUI with J7 book because that's all I have here at work :)) PII@450MHz, 128Mb
RAM, LGL with 64Mb hash, me with nothing but my own brain:

[Event "Level=Blitz:3'"]
[Site "Den Haag"]
[Date "2001.07.16"]
[Round "-"]
[White "Dorp,van, Jeroen"]
[Black "Goliath Light 1.5"]
[Result "0-1"]
[ECO "D31"]
[PlyCount "72"]
[EventDate "2001.07.16"]

{64MB, j7book.ctg. CyberJerry
} 1. d4 d5 2. c4 c6 3. Nc3 Nf6 4. e3 e6 5. Bd3
dxc4 6. Bxc4 Bd6 7. Nf3 b5 8. Bd3 b4 9. Ne4 Nxe4 10. Bxe4 f5 11. Bc2 O-O 12.
O-O Ba6 13. Re1 Nd7 14. Ba4 Bb5 15. Bd2 Rc8 16. Qb3 Qe7 17. Rac1 Bxa4 18. Qxa4
Nb6 19. Qb3 c5 20. dxc5 Rxc5 21. Rxc5 Bxc5 22. Rc1 Rc8 23. Nd4 a5 24. Qxe6+
Qxe6 25. Nxe6 Bd6 26. Rxc8+ Nxc8 27. b3 Kf7 28. Nd4 Ne7 29. h3 Kf6 30. Nb5 Bb8
31. a4 Ke6 32. f4 Kd5 33. Kf2 g6 34. g4 fxg4 35. hxg4 Ke4 36. Ke2 h5 0-1

I lost on time after being a pawn ahead(just a few seconds less on my clock than
Goliath). But in the rush I got it wrong at 34. g4 I think. Maybe Ke2 was
better. Finished quite drawish however.

Thanks for posting this and best wishes and many thanks to Michael & Mathias
(M&M's?)
