Subject: Chessmaster Website Finally Restored!

Yes, a miracle has occurred! The Chessmaster website has been restored and
updated!

Most importantly for the users of this board, the 1.0.3 patch is now available!
Here's the ReadMe for that patch:

---------------
Version 1.0.3 addresses numerous issues, most notably:

-- Chessmaster's blitz play is now improved under certain circumstances.

-- Fixed a bug created by v1.0.2 which prevented new moves from being added to
opening books with the Opening Book Editor.

-- Fixed a bug in the Game Analysis feature that could show inaccurate opening
book analysis depending on which players were in the game.

-- Fixed a problem with the PGN loading code that incorrectly read the BlackELO,
WhiteTitle and BlackTitle fields.

-- Fixed a bug in the Swiss tournament pairings which could corrupt the
tournament results if a tournament was suspended and restarted in between rounds
during the same session.

-- Added a "Bye" column to the Tournament Results dialog of a Swiss tournament.
Players that have had a bye will be designated by a '*' in this column. Note
that full-point byes are used in Chessmaster 8000.

-- Added a "Pondering" checkbox to the "Import XBoard Engine" dialog and the
"XBoard" tab of the "Set Up Personality" dialog. This is identical to the
"Pondering" checkbox in "Style" tab of the "Set Up Personality" dialog for
non-XBoard engines, meaning that if it is selected, then the engine will think
on its opponent's time (if the engine supports it). NOTE: All XBoard
personalities that have been created previous to v1.0.3 will have this checkbox
unselected by default, meaning they will NOT think on their opponent's time
unless the personality is modified.

-- Fixed a crash bug in several dialogs that could occur if the user created
about 80 or more custom personalities.

-- The "Off" setting for "Sliding Pieces" in the "Board Settings" dialog now
works properly.

-- Increased the maximum depth field of the "Import PGN" dialog of the Opening
Book Editor. The maximum is now 40 moves, but the default is still 30 moves.

Also, the FAQ has been updated, so make sure to take a look at that as well.
