From here on in I doubt there will be a chess playing program that can clearly claim the title 'strongest' against all opposition. Too many games have to be played, against other comps, and against humans, and meanwhile there are other programs being improved upon. Combine this with unequal hardware considerations, and the argument over which is strongest will never be settled.
