This is a nice Tournament that i made year to year...

III Montes de Oca Computer Rapid Championship.

5 Hiarcs 7.32 0½ ½0 00 ½1 ** 11 11 11 8.5/14 46.75
6 Gambit Tiger2 00 ½1 0½ 1½ 00 ** 11 11 7.5/14
7 Yace 0.99.50 ½0 0½ 01 ½0 00 00 ** 00 2.5/14 21.75
8 Crafty 18.10 00 ½0 00 00 00 00 11 ** 2.5/14 9.25

I made a nice tournament, and today it finish, the time control was 30 minutes +
15 seconds for all the moves. I used four computers K7-AMD 1300 Mhz with 256
Ram. I used almost all their principal opening books for each engine, and for
yace and crafty i used General.ctg For Deep Fritz i used Powerbook.ctg.

Chess Tiger 14 won the rapid tournament with one point of difference. The other
tiger finished in the 6th place!, and 4 engines finished with a draw score.

I will beguin another nice tournament very soon. But maybe i will replace Yace
and Crafty. In this tournament both programs played very poor, i can´t
understand....

Are Tiger 14 the best chess program now??

Somebody was challenge in a big match (Deep Fritz against ChessTiger 14 CB) ????

I will like to see a big match (slow time controls) between this two engines..
If somebody knows, please send me the games, or post it here.

Thanks in advance!

Tanya Deborah
