It's a joke. You must have already read the "SSDF collusion" type threads of
the past few months.

Basically, it works like this -->
1. A SSDF match starts and people perceive a pattern (e.g. it starts off 5-2)
2. "Hooray!" everyone shouts -- "X" is stronger than "Y"
3. The pattern fails to hold -- after all, the engines are about the same
strength. The next 7 games go 4-3.
4. "Collusion!" the hoard shouts. SSDF is in cahoots with the maker of "Y"!
5. "Y" gets an even bigger lead. 'You know who butters their bread!' chime the
collusion theory advocates.
6. "X" makes a minor comeback. 'Oh, sure -- just to quiet us down, you now
have started a losing streak...'

Etc.

A funny thing about the whole process is that it would be necessary to fake the
actual moves, since they are recorded and made public.

Of course, we all see things that go bump in the night from time to time. I
don't give the SSDF -- 'Evil Empire' marriage any credence. But then again,
what do I know.

Anyway, I guess it's better than talking about the weather.
