I suggest we use "approval voting" as our voting method. This is considered superior by mathematicians because it avoids games that can be played with the voting process, such as not voting for people you think have no chance to win and other games people apply to try to make their vote more effective. This causes strange side effects such as the most popular candidate may not win etc. Approval voting is simply allowing people to vote on any (or all) the candidates. If there were 10 candidates, I could choose to vote on 8 of them and not the other 2 for instance. It turns out there is no 100% sound way of voting. Approval voting is just considered more sound that other methods such as "one person 1 vote." Just a suggestion. - Don
