Wouldn't the SSDF get more accurate results if a "DEEP" program was on a dual 700Mhz machine than on a single 1200Mhz one? The logic is as follows the programs were intended for 2 or more cpu's if you get 1.7x when you use 2 cpu's as to one 700 x 1.7 = 1190 this way you still get roughly equal cpu power and the "Deep" program get's to run as it was intended. Also i think the results would be different if this was done i may not know how the variation splitting would change but i am sure someone can say also there may be more to it than this when it comes to the "Deep" programs on 2 processors than on one.
