Subject: kns for the newly released 1800 mhz pentium 4 oc to 2000 mhz

my pentiums in the past were 550 mhz and a dual 750 mhz.
a friend of mine just purchased a 1500 mhz pentium 4.
it achieved a best of 1120 kns in the fritzmark test.
my 1000 mhz amd (old slot) got about 900 kns.
my 1550 mhz amd gets about 1364 kns in the fritzmark test.

so it seems the new pentium 4 1800 mhz should get about 1332 kns.
in the example below, the oc 1800 p4 @ 2000 mhz should get about 1480 kns.
so to get 1480 kns out of a single amd processor, we will need about 1700 mhz.
2000 mhz pentium 4 = 1480 kns
2000 mhz amd = 1760 kns

dual amd 1500 mhz palominos, oc to 1600 mhz = 2600 kns.

like i said before, i am going to wait on the dual 1500 palominos. should be out
in the next 4 to 8 weeks. maybe by then we can test the deep jawed tiger
against deep fritz and deep shredder.
who knows, maybe ed will come out with a "deep century".
