If Panno were 100 years old it will still be impressive.  At least I'm pretty
sure he'd smoke me in a game of chess when he's 100 (if he is still able).

Is anybody really surprised that a bit of exaggeration is used in ad copy?
Read _any_ bit of ad copy.  I've never seen a software box glowing in humility:
"We are quite sure that Shredder is much stronger than this program, and if we
play against a GM, we are always careful to ensure that the matches include
bouts of quick time control so our noses won't be too bloodied afterwards.
Anyway, we do have jazzy looking 3-D chessmen and we hope you'll enjoy our
product."
