I haven't had the time to take a closer look at the games, but it looks as if Fritz had advantage in positions with passed pawn(s) while GambitTiger had advantage when Fritz could be "strangled". Interesting the games 2 und 6 (ECO: B80), an opening which Tiger hadn't lost up to now, maybe due to a long and dedicated opening line. But here Fritz could create a decisive passed pawn and won that game. Of course Fritz happily repeated this line as soon as possible. But now s.th. strange happened: GambitTiger repeated 15 moves after the end of the book line from the 2nd game and one should expect GambitTiger to leave the line. But it wasn't GambitTiger who played a different move, it was Fritz, and Fritz lost the game later on. Absolutely strange. However, the match finished again with a result of 5.5-4.5 (probably the most often result), but this time Fritz won. And I can only repeat for the 1000th time that none of them could demonstrate superiority. By the way three more games resulted in a 2.5-0.5 in favour of GambitTiger, so that after 13 games it wouldn't have been 4.5-5.5 but 7.0-6.0. As I count the result after 10 games these 3 games of ocurse make no difference and won't be counted for the results to be compared. Anyway I have added the three games to the database, just for your interest. Games etc. available at http://www.geocities.com/Harald1312/HaraldFaberE.html At the moment it is 1.5-0.5 in favour of DeepFritz vs. GambitTiger.
