Hi everyone, Thanks to the many that have submitted comments, suggestions, criticisms and bugs. I have just posted updated code incorporating the following changes: - it works on other people's PCs (oops :-) - configurable via registry settings - tested with Blikskottel and Crafty - other minor bugs fixed For those who missed the initial post, Skaar is "glue" code intended to hook up WB engines to chess servers in a flexible, programmable manner. As the web site is now online, I will post updates here only when substantial new functionality is added. However, the code is very much in development; if you are using or testing it, please check the web site often. The URL for Skaar is http://www.oellermann.com/skaar . Many thanks Adam Oellermann PS: The name "skaar" comes from the Afrikaans word "skottelskaar", meaning "ploughshare". My chess engine's FICS account is "skottel", so it seemed like a natural name...
