The players in Argentina had little or no computer experience AFAIK, which is the problem I mentioned previously. The Van der Wiel and Hübner efforts shows that it's far from impossible to do well without too much effort and current playing strength. So I interpret the results in the opposite direction. In comparison with the Kramnik match, which requirements aren't exactly beneficial to Deep Fritz, it's more revealing than the ones mentioned above. Mainly because the human player has dictated the terms and has considerable financial and prestigious incentives. >Is it going to be a 9 game match? Then I predict 3 wins for Kramnik with 6 >draws. Kramnik will go for draws with black and various attacking schemes with white. If computer chess has evolved in the years or so, I think it'll be able to hold most of games with black. My prediction would be 6-4, ie. eight draws and two wins. Regards, Mogens
