I have no idea, and I don't own a copy of ChessBase. Surely, you have some settings wrong, because several million games import into Chess Assistant in a few minutes -- maybe an hour or two tops. I am sure that some of the ChessBase folks can tell you the right way to do it. Robert Pawlak writes excellent reviews of products, so maybe one of his reviews can tell you what you are doing wrong. Or send an email to the ChessBase technical support. I am sure that they can help you. I'm basically totally ignorant of ChessBase, except that I have downloaded the Fritz Demo and ChessBase light, but they are not to be used for serious work. >It is a pity that Fritz does not run with the opening book Crafty made. I suspect that the Fritz opening book is much higher quality than the one that Crafty made. In short, I think vice-versa would be a lot better.
