About that CB book building, I think it's a good advice for those who ask this
and *own* CB to take a good look in the manual. But that aside.

Create a new database, a .CTG, database.
Now be sure that the PGN database icon is on the CB surface. Drag the PGN
database icon to the new tree database and your opening book will be built.

You will be asked which games to copy and how many moves to include, and if you
should use absolute length or ECO-relative lenght (out of ECO -book, so to
speak).

As usual mr "Kamikaze" Lopez has lots of stuff on these kinds of elementary
things in his T -Notes.

E.g. http://www.chessbaseusa.com/T-NOTES/020799.htm which is for Fritz 5 but is
still correct for CB8 and other CB products.
