On my k6/200 it does between 2500 - 4500 NPS depending on position and
how much material on board. In general it does 3500 NPS.
The amount of tactical handling we get out of 3500 nodes is not bad at
all.
Enough to stand against some of the best chess programs not known as bad
tacticians (e.g. Fritz5).

Of course you are right: there is never ENOUGH tactical speed .
