Subject: Cheap memory this days, but does it give anymore playing strength?

I just bought a 256MB PC-133 memory module for my PC for about $60 (I'm sure you
can find even better prices.) Its nice to have when dealing with large graphic
files etc, but will it help much for playing strength to have say 256MB hash
instead of 48MB?
