Go up one level in this thread

You could goto Dan's FTP start downloading the ECO files Decompress so you have
the PGN and in Fritz 6 Interface Create a New CBH file copy A00 to the New CBH
file and continue to do this untill you have all the Games from the ECO's and
then Create a new tree

I am not sure how long this would take but if you have over 512MB of ram it
should be within a few days

However if you are going to make a decent opening tree you should create a elo
list and then remove all under 2500 or all under 2600

one final problem the Computer Games are included in these eco files i think
they should be separate also the Blitz Games , ICC and elsewhere should be
taken out except that many new ideas in openings come from the major blitz
tournaments

Just my thoughts.
