www.microway.com You can get Alpha's that run Windows NT and at 5.2GB about 2.5 times faster than a Dual 1.2Ghz Athlon MP Also with the latest 1Ghz Alpha this difference would be more. If you want to run just unix you can go faster but as far as i know Crafty is the only smp program that would work. In that case Dual 800Mhz Itanium or if money is no object 4 way or 8way Itaniums, SGI, IBM, and HP 16 cpu's and up. But the dual's are practical and at 2.4Ghz next year that should satisfy most people's needs.
