On http://www.iarsn.com/ you can download the shareware program taskinfo. With it you can establish what the use of the processor is by the various programs. Besides from the clever and lateral thoughts :) of Bob Hyatt it could well be that one engine is not hogging itself but make another program hogging the CPU. You can experience that with e.g. resident virus- or trojan scanners and firewalls. Best of luck, J.
