Another possible problem might be that some of the big threads seem to ramble
over more than one topic/category. Perhaps it could be set up so that a message
may be in more than one category. The voting idea could still be present; people
who believe it is wrongly classified could vote it *out* of a category.

I also think some kind of full-text search would be incredibly useful, although
I understand the cost/dev time constraints which may apply.
