I was impressed by this computer because Tiger 8 had a very hard time
against it in a 4 games match 2 years ago.

In Paris, when I had Frans in front of me for the Tiger/Fritz game, I
asked him if he had programmed the TC2100. He answered yes. Then I asked
if it was a version of Fritz and, as I remember, he answered no. I
didn't try to go further, because I didn't want to bother him with my
silly questions.

Maybe the main reason he answered no is because there is no hash tables
in TC2100. As we all know, Fritz needs HT a lot. Nevertheless, I suspect
that TC2100 uses the same kind of knowledge than Fritz (version 2 as
Fernando says), and is mainly a fast program.

Fernando, how did you get your informations?
