i noticed that you have not posted here in some time.
God blessed you with a brain that demands you share with others your thoughts.
some do not have this gift.
some just listen and never respond,
some just stare and wonder what happen,
some are verbal and say "what happen",
some explain to others what happen,
and some make things happen...
i also agree with your thoughts on todays home pc.
i remember so many times after upgrades at work, those expensive pcs were
piled up very high in storage, waiting to be hauled off.
sometimes i would just pull up a chair and remember what those 33mhz used
to mean when they were new.
all of this hardware that i am fasinated with today will also just be a pile
of reject parts in the near future.
but for now in the present i will enjoy the alphas, palominos, xeons and
itaniums.
computers are like some women that i have dated in the past.
there were all sizes and shapes. we had some good ones and some were
amazing. but now all just memories. but all good memories.
this is what makes us smile when alone.
