It's natural because a Palm is much more convenient than a PC for playing chess.
The stylus, for example, is much more easy and intuitive to use than a mouse.
Playing on a Palm is even more easy than playing on a real chess board.
I'm sure I can set up a position more quickly on my Palm than on a real chess
board, or on a PC chess program.

I don't think it is the case, but it is true that much more efforts are now
spent on Palm chess programs than just a few months ago.
